Ahahah, maybe I am! No I'm not that old, I'm just used to being older thasn most in my other fandom. I mean, one of the people I know in that fandom wasn't born when MmmBop came out (to go back to Hanson). I MEAN COME ON.
It is such a charming movie, though! The 2nd one makes me want to weep and for my eyes to melt, even though Scotty gets more screen time.
Yeah, it took a few episodes, but he quickly had me under his spell. And then we watched the Back-Up Plan. *makes hands motions again*
Pssht. Old. C'mon. And Yeah, fandom is prevailingly young. I always like it when I meet fangirls in their 40s and 50s, because its just...awesome. But I'm in my 30s so what do I know.
Alex nabbed my heart in Moonlight, but even he couldn't save that doctor drama he was on Three Rivers last year. I guess when I love an actor, I don't watch everything their in because I'm not going to love everything they're in. But I wanted to see Alex succeed b/c I knew he had promise if he got the right role.
Back-Up plan - I refuse to watch. I heard about it and my eyes wanted to start bleeding just from that. Poor Alex.
We watched Moonlight after falling for H50, just because...and then watched Three Rivers. I did like Moonlight but Three Rivers, just, no.
Oh The Back-Up Plan is not really good, granted, but some bits make up for the rest. The amount of on-screen time he spends without a shirt on, for example...And some moments are genuinely funny.
Dude. Three Rivers - I tried. I really did. I saw Alex was going to be on it and I said, "Okay Alex, I will give it a chance because of you." and ppfft...didn't even hold my interest through an entire episode.
And then a friend of mine wrote for H50 this season, and he told me to watch his new show, and I was like "Oh Alex is in this, yeah?" and He's like "Mel you only watch for the pretty." (he knows I don't but still) And then I stayed for the Steve/Danny romance.
A friend who watched Back-Up plan and reported back to me said that the main problem was that they dumbed down Alex's character, and he;s not a dumb guy. So, yeah, I'll take my shirtless Alex in intelligent roles. *wink*
I don't know, I thought Jennifer Lopez' character is the dumber of the two - I'm biased maybe, but I thought Alex' character's reactions to the whole ordeal and the way he goes for it rang real, when she just. She just annoyed me immensely, especially towards the end.
Consider me awesome. Or a total geezer, I'm good with either. :D
I couldn't watch Moonlight--gave it a try the other day when SciFi was running a marathon. It was just too painful! But then again, vampires just aren't my thing.

I totally consider you the awesomest of sauces.
Yeah, vampires are an acquired taste. It was just hilarious that Alex had better chemistry with his male co-star buddy than the woman his character was shipped with. That's probably Alex though, he seems to do better with the guys than the gals.

I didn't watch much of the show, but I did see enough to notice that. Sweet!
