let's forget about the mistakes of the past.

So, you guys! Who's into NaNoWriMo around here, huh? I'm hoping to find myself a few little friends that are doing it, if I plan on doing it this year.

I did it in 2008, and won, and never finished editing the final product. And I did it again last year, but failed - I did get 50K of words, but I stopped writing my first idea 25K in and started a completely new story and got it to 25K, too. So I can't really consider it a win.

But anyway, I'd like to do it again this year, I keep on thinking about it and hoping the idea will hit me. For now it hasn't, and there is still time, but if ever one of you have this idea they want me to write, let me know XD.

I love the idea of NaNo and the challenge it is. It's not for everyone and it can be quite a lot of work (considering November will be busy this year, too), but, ugh, the thrill. I have a lot of love for it. So anyway, if you're planning on doing it, we can cheer each other on and all! \o/

Okay, I really feel the need to ask this question here, because I am a bit worried about things I have read this afternoon...

In fic, do you prefer when characters use a condom or not? Say, in a Steve/Danny first time fic, what do you prefer? What do you think is more in character?
