I feel like I need a new fandom to play around in. I was talking with sirona_gs yesterday about it, how it'd be good for me to put a little distance so I don't get as annoyed with everything that's going on in the H50 fandom lately; I don't find it the healthiest place to be in at the moment, and I'd enjoy being able to turn away to something else when I need it. But nothing has hit me like this show has, recently. I'm not into the film ships going on lately - I sort of feel assaulted by them everywhere and thus I tend to turn away. So, I don't know. It's hard, you guys. If there's anything you think I should check out, let me know!
In the meantime, if anyone wants to point me towards awesome Eames/Arthur fic (preferably long and meaty, I have a weakness for AU), I'll take it. I've not read them much, but they're so lovely.

Oh, fandom, why do you have to be like this? If you still love H50--embrace it, I say. Negativity breeds negativity so when fandom hit a bump in the road, I kind avoided all the negative niches and play around in the sandboxes of those that are still enjoying the show and not letting a few aspects overshadow them. Talk about obsessive... behavior..lol

Funny. After watching two weeks of my normal TV line up and finding all the writing gone to the pits...it makes H50 still a shiny beckon in what is a wasteland out there...lol. I had to drop Criminal Minds after another horrid eppy.

The only other shows that I still enjoy NCIS, NCIS LA, Person of Interest,(which is new) and Supernatural, but none of those shows pull me into their fandoms.

Thing is I have too much of a morbid face to my curiosity, and it's really stupid, but I can't help myself. I really need to stop looking for the unhappy, and focus on the happy!

I keep on hearing really good things about NCIS: LA - I never liked the original, I guess I've been burned, being in the Dark Angel fandom for as long as I could, even post cancellation, made me completely, and utterly averse to Michael Weatherly. I just cannot, with him. So that was that for NCIS :').

I've been in several big fandoms and every single one has had growing pains. If you sit back like an outsider, it's actually fascinating to watch how much people cling to negative aspects. And while I agree with with some of them, the good outshines everything. I think it's human nature to focus on the bad for some reason..lol


But anyhow. I love NCIS L.A. Very different from the mother ship. The bromance of Sam and G is pretty epic. Great banter and watching each other's backs. (They really are so married) Plus I love Kensi. AND Linda Hunt is fab.

You should give it a shot. There was a bit of a shake-up form season one to two that I think was for the good as it found it's footing. But the show is a lot of fun!! Season one is on Wednesdays in syndication on USA and there's always other ways to watch the early stuff :D

Okay--back to writing.

I live in the UK so watching NCIS: LA in that way will be hard ;D. But I can download it, definitely!
