Digging into website data so deeply that I don't see an hour and a half go by, this is what I love most about my job. I'm counting links, checking IPs, following link paths, and then I look down and oh, look, it's almost time to go home!

I wonder - what do you guys do?

I wish i could work with animals. I want to volunteer in a shelter, but I can't find anywhere around who will take dog walkers or something like that. It makes me sad.

I make Ivy League undergraduates cry. It's surprisingly (unsurprisingly?) easy. My actual job (making them cry is just a perk) is support staff, collecting and distributing papers and letters, doing some website updating, etc. And making some of the teachers in my department want to cry, too. Perfect job while getting a graduate degree.

I work in a student exchange agency (we send high school students to the USA or Australia for a school year or a semester) and collaborate as freelance journalist with a local magazine. Oh, and I'm the "unofficial live photographer" for some friends who play in a band. But I'm not getting paid for it, so that's more of a hobby. :)

I manage the web team for a specialty food company. Okay, it's really just me the web developer and one other girl who's the designer, but it's a cool title and they feed us well. ;)

I am, yes. I actually have a degree in networks and webprogramming, and another in actual programming, but when I moved to London I found a job as an SEO and never looked back!

For fifteen years I worked in a veterinary hospital both as a vet tech and as the office manager.

Now, I do human resources for a company that helps disabled people find jobs.

In my spare time I make jewelry. :)

I work for the provincial gov, Ministry of environment, at the Climate change bureau (I'm in charge of the automobile division). Developping politics, applying them, funding programs etc. Usually a desk job but today I went ot Montreal for a press conference where i drank champagne and ate lovely bite size food for an hour and a half. (thank god for wifi in busses, the ride each way is 3 hrs)

I work in town hall in the department of architecture. I tell people what they can build, if they want to build something. Or, rather, I prepare the documents for the Big Bosses who tell them. :\

Aaaahhhh, but it's all the little hands that matter, though. I'm happy being in the shadow of my manager, I'll admit - he's the one that has to sell us to clients, I just write the presentations and do the research!

I, as you know, deal with patients and doctors and admin and paperwork all day. Some days it's so insanely busy I can't find the time to go to the loo. And some days it's so slow that I have to write 10K in one go to stay sane. Meh. It works, when I'm not stressing myself into blocking on my fics.
