Okay! gunslingaaahhh's got a lovely cuddle fest going on! I am still on sale here!

I am also still quite obsessed with the idea of SCI!Steve rediscovering surfing and the sea. But the thing is I'm hitting sort of a low - in which I feel like I can't write - and I'm terrified of fucking up, so I've got all these images in my head and I really want to write them, but it's freaking me out that nobody would care, which is, I know, silly. But sometimes, I can't quite help myself. I want this story to have a rhythm and to be a little poetic while being realistic over what Steve can and cannot do when he can't use his legs anymore, and I'm not sure I can pull it off.

To be honest, I'm probably going to end up writing it anyway, I know, but sigh, all the same.



You've seen it if you're on Twitter, but you know, still, it's Steve in black and in a tac vest and with a machine gun in his hand. A world of yes, really.

I'm with Sirona. As long as you tell the story as it wants to be told it'll be right. Personally I'll forgive a Lot when it comes to my favorite authors (of which you are definitely one). So, no pressure. Just write what the characters tell you and don't second guess.

Also: Is it just me or does PLenk have a Huge crush on Alex? I mean, who wouldn't? But still... Peter, your stan (stalker-fan) is showing.

Ahhh, it's probable the characters will run away from me. We'll see, I guess - if I'm not happy with it it'll never see the light of day and that'll be that!

I'm not a SEAL and I do not work in a job where my faculties are the difference between life and death. But I lost half my hearing literally overnight last year and have not handled it very well in many respects. My way of coping with it at the time was to turn it into a "what if" fanfiction but I couldn't bring myself to screw the character over so I stopped.

So this premise you are pondering is a story that I'd really, really like to read. *nods*

See, this is exactly why I'm afraid of ruining it. What if I don't go deep enough, what if I just touch some topics people would want to read more of. It's a little scary to want to dig into something like this, considering I've not lived it myself. But we'll see.

Haha. Well trust me it's pretty scary digging into it when it's real :) Like, every time I thought of something poor Ziva would no longer be able to do, oh, great. I can't do that either.
