Life is a little bit of a mess these days. Still getting used to the new flat - my room is a tip and I only have one small wardrobe so I need to buy things from Ikea. In the meantime contemplating unpacking seems worthless. Kitchen and living room are done though, which is good! Still no internet, it'll happen on Friday, I can't wait already XD.

Oh, you guys, sirona_gs and I have started our five0bang, being the BAKERY!AU OF DOOM, and already it's making me stupidly happy. These boys! And since Neve did a little pretty progress bar on her journal I thought I'd show you too:

13% of it is already written! I think we'll be okay reaching the 40k mark.

In the meantime, somehowunbroken is trying to make me join zombiebang and since it's only 5k I am quite tempted but cjdkvlbfsjvklf really? Really I don't have a plot for this, just ideas and images of complete STUPIDITY because I am such a Shaun Of The Dead fangirl. Replace cricket bat with a baseball bat and I have Danny walking down the streets super angry because a zombie spewed blood and guts over his favourite tie. RIDICULOUSNESS, NOT EVEN KIDDING.

And, I mean, there are so many things I want to write, too. Is there a scifi big bang? or a crossover big bang? I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU GUYS, I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME FOR ALL OF THIS BUT I WANT TO WRITE IT ALL. Urghl.

In other news, still crushing on Richard Madden and Alcide.

It's too easy to imagine him in full lecture mode as he's bashing zombie heads in. :D

It'd be fun, now, wouldn't it? And I'm pretty sure I could make 5K of it but just. I always think of Big Bang = some plot, ya know, so it feels weird to imagine writing one where nothing is happening besides Danny and Steve being badass (Steve would totally walk around with a crowbar and knuckle dusters he took from a zombie and pretend he's protecting Danny even though Danny needs no protection and would totally let Steve know that). I don't know! It's driving me crazy!

I am too! I really am, and I found a crossover big bang community, but the start of their round is in January so I probably will not wait for that if I want to write it...I have other things I want to write, though. DILEMNA.

Plot's always good. Depends on whether you want it to be a 'zombie's exist and everyone knows about them' or a 'starts out as some bizarre infection that turns into an epidemic' thing.

If it's a common knowledge thing, I would think Steve, being a SEAL, would've dealt with them before so would be totally cool with taking over defense of the islands. Danny, on the other hand, would have many, many issues with the whole zombie thing. His ranting would be epic and a thing of beauty. :D

In the end, that's the whole problem. I don't really want to write too much plot, because then it'd definitely go way over 5K and I don't want to lose myself in something too heavy - I don't have the time to dedicate to it =/. But then I'm not sure any of my little ideas could fit a Big Bang...

Hmm, I don't know! For a more serious approach you'd definitely need a plot, but not necessarily for comedy. You could always do it the Shaun of the Dead way, let the zombie apocalypse happen, find a fun way to not explain a thing, just throw the characters in the middle of all the WTF-ness and have a blast *g*

I think when it comes to Zombies there doesn't necessarily need to be a whole load of plot. Most zombie movies are pretty thin on plot. As far as I'm concerned it pretty much boils down to Zombie's are here! run! No fight back! and if the fight back is done in an entertaining way I'd be happy.

It'd pretty much be that, yeah. Danny and Steve fighting their way through from one place to the other - I'm thinking a big touristy place to Rachel and Stan's. Possibly thinking that, if I do this, getting them to fight with the most random weapons ever could be a ~thing.
