Because I have MANY. MANY.
Obviously, first and foremost you know what comes: I HAVE DECIDED TO LIVE IN A WORLD WHERE FURY TRICKED THE AVENGERS IN THINKING PHIL IS DEAD FOR THEM TO GO OUT THERE AND BREAK EVERYTHING, WHILE PHIL IS RECOVERING IN MEDICAL BEING ALL GRUMPY FACE NOT TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO BE THE ONE KNOCK CLINT ON THE HEAD.
There, you have it. I mean, after all, we don't hear the medical team call anything, just Fury telling Hill and the others. So, considering how he lied about the trading cards and the weapons, he could very well also be lying about Phil being dead. So. That's my idea and I am sticking to it, and whatever, I don't care, I used to write about all the dead Dark Angel characters like they weren't, don't care.
Also, there's been talk that he'd be in IM3? And he's still alive in the comics?

Other than that; the last battle was a thing of beauty, so much. The way they seamlessly worked together (and Hulk punched Thor, and played with Loki muehehehehehehe) was really amazing to see. It was intense, but not blurry and confused like so many big battle scenes.
Down point, for me - we've been hearing so much about how this movie was mostly seen through Cap's eyes, but really? It's not. I think it focused more on Tony; which I don't mind really, but I felt a tiny bit cheated not to have more of Cap's feels. Also, his intro scene with the flashbacks HOW CAN YOU HAVE NO BUCKY THERE VNKLFDBVJKLSBGHL. If there was a Bucky it was in a blink an you'll miss it, and I missed it.
Same, I was sad that Hawkeye was slightly underused. I mean, I get why, because he spends 2/3 of the movie in enemy's hands, but, still. Shame, because that first scene, cnfjv;bfrhvl.
Bruce stole the show. Utterly. MRuff's Banner/Hulk was confident and broken and full of heart and his desire to do good (compared to The Incredible Hulk's selfishness - which makes sense, too, but not necessarily how I imagine the Hulk) blew me away, and I was rooting for him hard. Also, I now ship the scientists-in-love even more than I did before, because they were perfection together, and Tony made Bruce grin and Bruce deserves a bit of silly in his life AND SOMEONE WRITE ME ALL THE FIC OKAY.
I LOVED Black Widow and how she was used more in this movie and the whole scene with Loki was KILLER, so amazing. She was just brilliant brilliant brilliant and I SO want a Black Widow spin-off vjfeklbvfhvjkl.
Thor was still the naive but fierce god he was in his own movie and that was good to see, but when Loki stabs him I couldn't help but groan and mutters 'IDIOT'. I loved the fight scene in the woods, though, how brilliant was that, OH, MOVIE, YOU PLAY WITH MY FEELS.
I can't even, with Loki. I. Can't. Even. What a legend of a villain. Twhiddles' work is just extraordinary.
I didn't expect so much fighting amongst themselves, but really it made sense - they all got all these issues and getting them together proves difficult, which I like. Obviously it makes some other stuff almost too easy, but in the grand scheme of things, it works, because it's so much about these characters. It was coherent, and the plot was solid without being convoluted, the acting was amazing, the CGI and explosions were mind-blowing. I had goosebumps every 5 minutes, and couldn't tear my eyes off the screen. It's a superhero movie that doesn't take itself for anything else than that, and it was all I wanted and so much more. I need to watch it again and again and again now, I can't say anything better than that.
OH WAIT I CAN: THANOS, ANYONE?
Fuck me, this movie was magical.
