I really want to write Coop going to see Ben after leaving the bar in the last episode. It's not even sexy in my head, it's comfort and it's what he needs and can barely allow himself to get, because life fucking sucks but sometimes it's also really fucking worth it. And he falls asleep with Ben's head on his chest, and stares at the ceiling with his fingers in Ben's hair and mourns, just for a little while.

I really want to write it, but I've never written these characters and I'll admit to being terrified of doing it wrong. I guess I will never know if I don't give it a shot, but Coop is such a beautiful, complex character, it's really quite daunting.
