May. 11th, 2011 02:10 pmTitle: Standing Up In Fire
Pairing: Steve/Danny
Rating: NC-17, although ymmv
Summary: Crossover with Moonlight.
When bodies are found drained of their blood in Hawaii, Five-0 is put on the case right away. Old memories collide with newfound feelings for Danny as an old friend appears on the island and helps with the investigation. Danny finds himself having to juggle with past and present, and it's not as easy as you think. - There is character death, as a warning.

armillarysphere looked this over for me, thank you bb. yes there are vampires around and if you don't know the Moonlight lore you might be a smidge confused, but imo, not much. It's not necessary to know Moonlight in depth at all. Thank you to any and all of you who pushed me to write this!
I hope you enjoy, comments are amazing and I love them a lot.
As a reference if you don't know, this is how Alex O'Loughlin looks like portraying Mick St. John. This story kinda exploded on me, and it's more about friendship and relationships and how it all works than vampires, to me, but I'll wait for your opinion on it. There are many other aspects I wish I could have pushed on, but I made a choice in the end, because otherwise I'd never have finished it.
