Maybe it's because I'm fairly new in the fandom that I don't feel too restricted by the way everybody writes some details? I can imagine moments when Steve feels lonely and oppressed in that house, I can, but I can also see moments where he just takes it in and realizes he's home, now, for the first time in years. And I love the idea of them angsty and horny and angry but I can see the quiet moments too - it reminds me of when Steve called in the Governor to get Rachel to drop the case for Danny not to see Grace as much anymore, or the whole Matty episode. I love the fact that they're not unidimensional, I want to write about everyyyyyything ^^.
The foot bit just came to me, it wasn't even planned! I just could see it happen...
