Okay, so if you're around here, it's possible you're a new friend, and you do not know of my crazy just yet.


Thing is, I write. A lot. And I write with other people, too, because man, it's fun. I have a few people I'll turn to right away to discuss fic and thoughts and, usually, it's enough. I wrote a 50K words fic with only so much as an approximate outline for it, and a lot of cheerleading and arse-kicking.

But usually, I focus on one pairing. I don't go writing all the pairings in the same story because I'm not that insane, you know? I try to keep myself in check so I can't make a mess of things.

Well, I wasn't that insane. Because now, apparently, I am, and sirona_gs and I are writing alllll the pairings in a clusterfuck fest of a Love, Actually redux Avengers fic (...OR SOMETHING), and suddenly there are so many storylines in my life.

So, what to do in this case? PLANNAGE. REAL HARDCORE PLANNAGE LIKE I DON'T EVEN DO AT WORK. With three spreadsheets and colour-codage and making sure things make sense and we don't get lost and confused in the midst of the clusterfuck.

And in the end, after much poking around (work? what work) this morning, spreadsheet is making sense!



AND IT IS HUMONGOUS. I have counted about 60 scenes to contend with. Each colour is a storyline, each cell is a scene, I am a nerd.

So please, accept this as a forewarning to possible future freaked out posts as we dig into this. Because, well, I am VERY EXCITED about writing it, but, clusterfuck. LET'S HOPE MY PLANNAGE SKILLS ARE NOT ALL SMOKE AND MIRRORS.

I don't think we'd ever get this done if it wasn't for you and your superb planning skills. I love plannage, but I don't think I could have been arsed to do all this for myself if I was planning to write this alone. SO IT'S A GOOD THINK I HAVE YOU, REALLY. \0/ \0/

Idk why, but I enjoyed doing this so much, it's ridic. It's keeping my motivation and excitement levels veryyyyyyy high, let me tell you, OH SO VERY HIGH.
