Artistic license, fair 'nuff :D I nitpick because I've read way too many fics where authors just make it up (2 month old walking and talking? I don't think so.), rather than fudging within actual possible parameters. Most babies tend to try to walk before they try to talk, but it's not unheard of for the talking before or at the same time as the walking. My Nana maintains that I also spoke early, but she never told me how early! :)
