I didn't know Scott before this show either. I didn't realize he'd been in Varsity Blues until someone mentioned it, and then I had to scrub that image out of my head with bleach b/c dear god, no. So I was a Scotty-virgin coming into this show.
I tend to steer clear of his interviews because of his duchbaggery, but this was really well done. You're righ, he does look like he wants to be anywhere else. But then again, some actors are better at interviews than others.
