Domestic is forever my favourite flavour with these two! And they do it so well, without even trying! That's what I love so much about this show and it's characters, because it's no stretch at all to imagine Steve and Danny doing domestic everyday things like making pancakes and taking Grace to the zoo and then the next minute getting in a fire-fight with angry Samoan drug lords or something. It's such an awesome dynamic that gives us so much to work with. And then, as I was telling my friend the other day, people in this fandom are so fond of marriage fic and really, in a lot of other fandoms seeing two male leads get hitched takes a lot of imagination and squinting and holding your mouth right, but Steve and Danny, it doesn't take much at all. They're practically canon!married already. It makes me *glee*
(Also, my favourite scene ever that shows how well the fluff/action dynamic works has to be the scene where Steve is out in the jungle hoisting up a damn tree and talking Danny down from potentially murdering Stan while he does it. I mean, what? Who else would hold a five minute phone conversation while in the middle of an ambush? God, I love this show.)
I haven't watched much of moonlight, admittedly. I saw a few episodes a few years back during all of the vampire hype and then forgot about it, and just recently watched a few more but didn't really pay attention. I think I'll have to give it one more shot though, if solely because I want to perv all over Alex. And hot guys in glasses, yesplease and thank you. <33 Have you ever seen the show Criminal Minds? Alex played a killer in one episode and he was OCD, with the glasses and it was too cute.
Also, his smile? Will be the death of me. Just sayin'.
