Okay, so, a meme or two:

Pick one of my fics, and I'll give you three details that didn't make it into the fic. Background canon, deleted scenes, or a look into the future. My choice, but if you have a specific question you can ask it in your request.

Everyone has things they write about. Everyone has things they don't write about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I haven't written about that you'd like to see me write.

Writing writing writing. Adult!Grace/Steve is over 12k now. I have thoughts about going back to my Terminator fusion (I blame seeing Anton Yelchin in Fright Night yesterday), and I've got my Zombiebang to focus on as well. I'm still not 1k into it and I guess I should give it more of a go before we get to the deadline...Got a month to go, should be doable. It's just hard to think about anything else but this Grace/Steve...

I'll get back on it after I'm done with the things I am supposed to write, I guess XD. And Danny's here, Danny's very much here in this story, they're 'just' best friends in it. Although Steve is betraying him to be with Grace.
I'm not surprised if we don't get many people reading it, but I really love writing it and I think it's pretty good and realistic, and they're a broken and fucked up and I like that...But I won't hold it against anyone that doesn't want to read it!

#1. this story started as a flashback of a sex scene between Danny and Mick. It never actually made the story!
#2. I never meant to kill both Josef and Beth at first. It just came as I wrote it, and I still feel terrible about it.
#3. I had many more plans for Steve freaking out about the fact that he and Mick look alike, and it's a part of the story I wish I'd explored, but the rest of the plot took center stage and then adding on would have made the story clunky.

I am glad I had a sudden surge for it! Wrote about 500 words to it today and I'm happy with it ^_^.

I have questions regarding Danny's POV from Months and Miles from Dreams:

When he decided to move to California, he didn't tell any of his family? So his mom and dad and brother and sister have no idea where he and Grace moved to? And when he left NJ, was he afraid that he'd never see Steve again or did he know that Steve would figure out a way to find him?

As you can see, I have an absolute fondness for this fic :):)

in Months and Miles, Danny speaks a lot about Rachel, rarely speaks of his family. In my head, of course they know, but the first person Steve thinks about is Rachel, not anyone from Danny's family. As for the Mafia part, to me his parents haven't had contact with them in ages, and are avoiding it at all costs, because it's just not what they want to deal with. And Danny's not important enough to start a chase that his parents would all too happily go and report to the police.

Now, I'm not saying it's perfect, obviously, but I'll admit, it's not something I focused much on!

And yes, Danny was definitely terrified that he'd never see Steve again, but he made a decision - a harsh and quick one, but still, it was a choice and he couldn't turn back on it because of the hope of seeing Steve again. For a long while, he lived with the hope that Steve would manage to find him again anyway...and look what happened :').

2. Mundane Worker Bee!Danny/White Collar Worker!Steve (like maybe Danny works in the cafe that's on the ground floor of the office building where Steve is like a hedge fund trader, IDK). IDK if it's outside your comfort zone, but I don't think I've ever seen anything like it from you (except maybe Stepping Stones, but that's a stretch).

3. I'm totally stoked to read Adult!Grace/Steve.

4. I think we need to petition TPTB to write an episode wherein Danny is in swim trunks the whole time. It's kind of unfair that Scott hides that body under long-sleeved button-downs.

Tuna - (because I didn't write Stepping Stones alone so it's a bit unfair ^^)
#1. I started writing it because sirona_gs challenged me to write something light and funny to get me out of the funk I was in with months and Miles from Dreams
#2. I would have it be much longer if I was to rewrite it now.
#3. I planned on it having a full blown sex scene, but the light-hearted tone of the fic kept me from it in the end.

I've never written anything like it, indeed - I have not to strayed tooooo much from canon-oriented fics, besides works with Neve and Months And Miles (which, I think, could be much more AU than I made it in the end). I wouldn't be against it, though, I like these silly stories ^^.

I have a lot of hope that in S2 we get some more shirtless Danny!

Oh my god, how is he even fair? I mean, really. SO NOT FAIR, SCOTTY CAAN.

It always amuses me how Danny has a thing with Steve always taking his clothes off and whatnot, but Scott seems to have that same problem what with his half nakedness ALL THE TIME my god. Not that I'm complaining or anything. I think Alex should have a talk with him about it because he is in that pool somewhere, damn it. Maybe that is who Scott is looking at.

Now I feel kinda bad that my focus zeroed in on Scott only and not the rest of your post, but it cannot be helped. I will come back with a fic question!

#1. I wrote a first version, and hated it, so deleted it completely and started over.
#2. I actually have the whole story behind this case in my head, but I am not good at writing them and my cases are always cliché and unimaginative, so I have not written more (I have been prompted to, though, and I'd love it, but heh).
#3. I had thoughts about making a RPS version of this. My BFFlatmate armillarysphere writes them much better than I ever would, though, so I never went there.

Oh god, a RPS version would be like a dream come true. I think when you originally posted that fic, I commented about how a story with Scott and Alex and a photoshoot of some kind was something I'd been wanted to read since learning about Scott's love of photography. Alex would just be the perfect subject to photograph because, well, he's Alex.

Danny is sitting in the hot tub. Steve is swimming laps. Every now and then Steve glides over to where Danny is and kisses him and grins that little Steve grin and then goes back to swimming, making sure to splash Danny when he does. Danny is plotting his revenge. It's probably going to involve dressing for dinner.

#1. It started as one little comment fic, about Steve wearing glasses. I liked the idea so I decided to go on.
#2. It took me ages to find the last part - his spirit - because I only had physical elements to it, and then this came to me, and I decided to use it.
#3. I had Steve wearing glasses in this fic, all the while knowing very well that to be a navy SEAL he has to have perfect eyesight, and he shouldn't be needing glasses for a while longer yet.
