Not only was he AT the exhibit -- he was hosting it!

Dunno who Kent Williams is, other than the artist (and yeah, I'm wondering how Alex knows him, that he'd be asked to host the shindig at the Merry Karnowsky Gallery -- though that's beside the point). :-)

Re: the buzz cut and beard... no telling whether he was serious or not, but a reporter at the CBS Upfront party at Carnegie Hall last week asked him about the buzz cut/beard look, and Alex said it was so that Peter Lenkov and the CBS bigwigs could see how Steve would look.. um.. let's just say at the end of the situation he finds himself in in the finale, as per Alex's suggestion to Lenkov.

I went to the Five-0 FB page and I am so staggered at the generosity of this man - in the middle of having a personal day at an art exhibit he takes time away to have his picture taken with fans.....I mean jeez! in the past so many other "stars" get all snotty and nasty and this guy.....OMG what a dreamboat and I don't just mean his looks.......what a nice person he is....

You can argue that he is, sort of, in 'work mode' - as he is the host of the event. But really, he's just so sweet - one day, one day I'll meet him and be as starstruck as I usually am around people I admire :').

yes he is! there are several theories as to why - he is the model of the artist, he is a hispter douche that doesn't accept it, or he's trying to prove to Scotty Cann that he can be a hispter douche when actually he isn't really, he just wants his tiny angry man to love him. *rps tinhat*
