Colour me confused. To me, it felt like this episode was the kind that could have been a simple monster-of-the-week sort, but no, it's a 2-parter and I'm like, um, what. Can someone explain to me what I missed there? I'm sure there must be undertones and clues and shit that I missed there, because I just don't get it. Why the fuck does that storyline deserve 2 episodes?

I get some of the implications, I think, you know, but still. Idk, it kind of bothers me I feel like I missed something important.

I felt much the same! There were the hints that the Doctor dropped about knowing about the skin jobs (sorry, BSG moment there) and now there's the second Doctor made from the flesh, which is really interesting (having all of the Doctor's memories and all that) but I was kind of feeling like there was something I was missing too. It was like the Hungry Earth... only without the previous Doctor Who lore.

Um, not that I added much, just wanted to say "yeah, me too"

Oh, god, I had such a BSG moment when they walked into that room with the Flesh and the other bath I was like 'OOoooooohhhhh....' but I couldn't share with my flatmates as they've never watched BSG (I know, I know).
I read [livejournal.com profile] gyzym's entry on Dr Who and now I feel like it could be because they want us to think the Doctor that dies in The Astronaut episode is the clone? I DON'T KNOW. Doctor Why always does that to me! I never know what to think...
