delicatale | I am doing it and it's scary and exciting.

So you know, how I was saying I wanted to write Mick/Danno and I'm crazy and it's just insane and all that, yeah? Well. Last week I started something because I had this idea in my head, but it just didn't fit, didn't click. I didn't like it. So I stopped.

And I didn't think I'd go on because well, I didn't like it. But then this morning I don't know, I was pretending to work and listening to The Kin and this, this hit me like a truck. So since the office was almost empty and I have no shame and stuff (actually I do but it's not really the point of this NEVERMIND), well, I started writing. And during the course of the day, 4,000 words spouted out of my fingers. 4,000. It blows my mind right now. I'm not even close to being finished but I have all these ideas to go on and I'm so excited, you guys. And I know, it's probable that this story won't get as much readers as 'normal' Steve/Danny, but it's still Steve/Danny with added Mick and vampires in it and I don't know, I just like it. I like the tone of it and I like that it's dark for once and just. I don't know. I just hope that you guys will like it too? Yeah. Anyway. I'm basically adding this:

"So you're saying that one," Steve holds up a fingers and shit, Danny has never felt this ridiculous in his entire life, "our three victims have had their blood drained by vampires, and second," another finger, "that our missing person is now a vampire herself?"

"Basically. Look, Steve, I know it sounds crazy -"

"You're right it sounds crazy! What the fuck, Danny, are you high?"

Steve stalks forward and grips Danny's chin, forces their eyes to meet. Danny punches him in the stomach, and the blow makes Steve twist and cough his breath out, enough for Danny to writhe away. Then he proceeds to unbutton his shirt, down to the middle, and shrugs one shoulder off. He turns around, and show his shoulder to Steve, the one where Josef bit him. He's so fucking angry, that Steve wouldn't believe him, thinks he's on drugs or something worse. Danny wants to punch him again, just for that.

"See these? What do they remind you of?"

He hisses when Steve touches the puckered scars, his fingertips such a featherlight touch Danny wonders for a moment if Steve actually touched him, or if he just imagined it for a second. He pulls his shirt back on, buttoning it with the remnants of his rage making his fingers shake.

"I know it's not enough, though, so you know what, Steve? Before you call me a drug-addict and get the Governor to revoke my visitation rights, which are abysmal enough as it is, I've got someone I want you to meet."

Vamps aren't usually my cuppa... but I'll read this! STEVE/DANNY WHORE AND PROUD!! :D

I used to love them, and then there was a lot of shit around them, they became ~interesting in a way that doesn't interest me at all. But ah, I am weak in the face of Alex. And I watched Moonlight twice over because oh, god, last week my flatmates weren't around and I was so bored. It's actually better than I thought it'd be! And it restored my faith in vamps a bit. I do like the ideas they had.
But I'm glad if you read it anyway, even if only for Steve/Danny because really, let's be honest, they're what really matters!

OK, I never watched Moonlight beyond the first episode but *makes grabby hands* I think this will be so fun! <3

I think I watched the first episode and was like, No thanks. But I may give it a second chance just to see AO make faces and run around without his shirt on.

God, I remember when that fandom exploded though over that woman who was stealing money from people.

Well he mostly got his shirt on but he wears henleys so that's ok. I thought the same as you when it first started, I wasn't impressed by what I got to see, but with a new perspective on Alex it makes it much easier. Also there are a lot of close ups on Alex' face. And his eyelashes.

I've never been in the fandom though so I have no idea what happened XD.

My flatmates and I started this movie/tv marathon, a while ago now, when we exhausted all H50 episodes and wanted more. We've been watching all things Scott or Alex, so Moonlight was definitely going to happen XD. And the boxset was ridiculously cheap!

We'll see how it goes!
