OMG, the angst. Poor Steve. This was beautifully descriptive and emotional. I so related to Steve here; it's so hard to get over the guilt of feeling useless and to accept a disability (no matter what kind it is.)
Steve actually was able to be productive getting a job, even if it was a different one, and the anti-depressants are sometimes necessary but never fun.
Awesome writing and uplifting story. Kudos!
