Well. Well I blame thegrrrl2002 but my brain replaces this lady with Steve right now, and oh, I have so many images in my head and I love the idea of this. The camera's lying on the dresser when Steve walks into the hotel bedroom where Danny's been living for the past week and a bit, tilted on its side, the strap curled around it like a sleeping snake. He brushes his fingers over it and passes by, sitting down on the edge of the bed as he looks around, taking in the clothes strewn around, as if removed in a hurry. Steve raises an eyebrow to himself and smirks, ears pricking up as the toilet flushes in the bathroom. Danny enters, shaking water from his hands, wearing only a pair of tight jeans that don't leave much for Steve's imagination.

"You been entertaining on the Governor's dime, Danny?"

"I am undercover, Steven. One does certain things when one wants to blend in."

"Oh, does one? And when Kono develops those photos, what exactly is she going to find?"

Danny just smiles at him, shaking his head. His hair is damp and curling at the nape of his neck, making Steve's fingers itch. He knows exactly what Danny's been doing for the sake of 'blending in' - he's not stupid, and he'd have done exactly the same thing himself - and it's making something burn in his stomach.

"C'mere."

"Steven..."

"Hey, we're off duty."

Steve grabs Danny's wrist, tugging him toward the bed, until he's standing between Steve's knees. He wraps an arm around Danny's hips, leaning in and pressing his lips to the trail of hair leading down from Danny's belly button, kissing up and dipping his tongue into it. Danny tastes of the orange shower gel he always steals from Steve's bathroom, tangy with the alcohol of his aftershave.

"Off duty?"

"I'm the boss, if I say we're off duty, we're off duty."

He licks up to Danny's nipple, swirling his tongue around it and drawing it into his mouth, hearing Danny hiss above him.

"Hey, grab the camera."

"What? I thought you just said I was off-duty?"

"Uh huh."

Steve looks up and smirks, getting to his feet slowly, letting his body slide against Danny's. He takes off his shirt, dropping it beside them, then climbs backwards onto the bed, beckoning Danny to follow once he's picked up the camera.

Danny rolls his eyes, but starts snapping away anyway. Steve grins and pulls the most ridiculous poses he can think of, watching Danny laugh behind the camera. It's not been easy, watching Danny put himself in danger for the sake of their investigation, not being able to dive in and step in the way of whatever bullet might fly at him, literal or metaphorical.

Steve undoes his pants, looking up at Danny through his eyelashes, knowing what it does to him, and when he sticks his hand in and grabs his dick, making a show of stroking it slowly, he bites back his grin at the way it makes Danny swallow visibly.

He takes his hand out and pulls Danny closer, grabbing the front of his jeans and tugging until he's straddling Steve's waist, pleased to find that Danny's not wearing any underwear when he pulls down enough to expose Danny's pubic hair and the base of his cock.

Danny's still taking pictures, and Steve makes a mental note to make sure Kono doesn't develop this particular roll of film.
